The City Park stretches between Matejki, Kwiatowa and Parkowa Streets in Kowary. The part of the park with rare specimens of trees planted by man gently turns into a natural piedmont forest. The complex is surrounded by meadows and pastures, in which you can often spot a herd of half-breed horses from the "Parkitny" stud in Kowary in conditions similar to their natural environment. The park features walking alleys among both common and those somewhat rare trees and shrubs. There are representatives of non-native flora, including trees introduced in this longitude and latitude such as Caucasian oak, black and Eastern White pine, Douglas fir or Canadian poplar. Children can enjoy their time in the playground, and adults can use the recreational barbecue site prepared specifically for small outdoor events.
